I am so happy to see that somebody in the United Sates is hoping to run in the presidential elections under the above name.

I wish him luck and hope he wins. It would be a wonderful comment on the state of politics, throughout the world, not just in one country.

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference.

Mr Else does not have the political infrastructure, the party allies, the supporting and controlling vested interests to have any real effect.

Congress and the Senate would remain unaffected. Things would just trundle on as before, wheeling and dealing on behalf of local, state and federal causes and lobbyists. Leaving President Else as the titular and powerless head of the system.

So, no change there then.

It does, however, highlight the real state of affairs in government of all nations. “We-the-People” is just shorthand for “Weewee-on-the-People-there’s-nothing-they-can-do”.
